セーラムの本棚

セーラムは文学的にとても人気があります。アメリカ初の偉大な小説家とされるナサニエル・ホーソーンは、赤い文字（1850年）や七つの屋根の家（1851年）など、セーラムを舞台にした名作を書き、またセーラム魔女裁判はアーサー・ミラーの受賞劇火あぶり（1953年）のインスピレーションとなっています。これらの本は、セーラムに関する必読書です。
